the subtle and tasteful mods you have on here are same as I remember on 6thgenaccord back in the day. Clean car
Wow thanks man. Who are you on 6GA?? Amazing to run into someone on here from there, figured I was the only one to go from that to a Cadillac haha.

VERY sharp!! Wish mine was a manual, but I was really looking for the AWD here in Northern Illinois.
Thank you! Hmm I think the answer is manual ATS and AWD winter beater haha. Just kidding, I get it. Gotta do what you gotta do.

Nice photos, very creative style. The ATS looks very clean, might pull some future CT4 owners back to the ATS.
Thank you, I'm friends with the photographer who took them, he does have a very vibrant style and he puts a lot of emphasis on lighting which is one the ATS's strengths.

I was so disappointed with the CT4/CT5 styling, they're certainly not ugly cars but they lost so much of what made the ATS and 3rdgen CTS so beautiful and unique. I wish Cadillac would have evolved the vertical headlight design instead of jumping ship to horizontal headlights which are what pretty much everyone else has. And the CT4 rear end is so blocky and unbalanced with the rest of the car in my opinion. All that plus no manual trans unless you get a V have me completely turned off on the new cars. /soapbox

Tell me about, its a harsh departure for what was becoming a well conceptualized design language. Keep up the updates, hopefully you can get some sponsors soon, and air it out.:)

Nice work!
How much did you pay for the trunk lid spoiler? OEM or aftermarket? I am thinking about it ...
Thanks man. Hmm I think it was $187 maybe, then I had it partially painted. It is aftermarket, there are no OEM carbon fiber spoilers that I am aware of.

Exactly, the 2ndgen CTS looked decent but still a little awkward in some areas. The ATS and 3rdgen CTS looked great and were showing major potential, the lines were really getting there. Hmm air would be cool, but I'd need a different set of wheels haha.

Hi, Can you remember the part number for the CTS Vsport steering wheel trim cover.
Thanks
I had a heck of a time finding it, the part number for that trim cover was the same as a regular CTS, which is the same part number as ours. Which made no sense. I contacted two online parts sites and said what I was looking for, they looked in inventory and said there were none. It was as if GM only made as many of the Vsport trim covers as they did CTS Vsports. But then I thought that automakers by law had to make replacement parts for their vehicles available for a certain number of years after the vehicles were made. It was a very frustrating thing to try and find. I finally found a used Vsport steering wheel somewhere and just bought that, then swapped the cover onto my ATS wheel.

Oh Ok Thanks. Yeah same problem gave a VIN number for a Vsport said it wasn't available. Really like want you've done with your car mine is Black Diamond Tricoat. I'll have to keep an eye for one on ebay.

No prob, sorry for the delayed answer. Yep, I resorted to giving VIN's too but still nothing.

Thanks for the kind words! Cosmetics have been my focus since I don't plan to do any real performance mods. Cool, BDT is nice and apparently easier to maintain than Black Raven.

Cool. Originally I had planned to do downpipe and tune, etc but I'd be lying if I claimed I had no worries about hurting the car as I really want to keep it long term. Plus I just don't feel like having to monitor fuel trims, engine knock, waiting for BNR's response times lol, etc. The car feels pretty good as is, just going to get it to make some better noise. My only performance related stuff is the intake and soon to be installed Borla axleback exhaust.

I may lower it on Eibachs if I find some springs for cheap, otherwise it's nice to not have to worry about damaging the lip kit. Did the whole low/slammed thing with my other car and once was enough haha.

  1. I went with the Diablosport Trinity T2 canned Tunes and I have to say they woke the car right up. Currently I have the ZZP Catted Downpipe and Cat Back Exhaust, Big Throttle Body, Mishimoto hot/cold intake pipes and Catch Can System. Only issue I've had is an AFE CAI it keep throwing a lean CEL code so I put the ZZP Tube and K&N filter back in an issue was gone. As for the exhaust I was surprised at the sound difference it made in a good way. Little more cab noise but a nice low rumble at idle and driving around but sounds like a jet plane at wot... Lol

Haven't updated this in a while. I've installed 1 step colder spark plugs (ITV22), swapped to the Euro reverse/rear fog light, installed a Vitesse throttle controller, debadged the 'ATS' and '2.0T' emblems, & added some front "splitter" pieces to match the side and rear splitters. Also my powertrain warranty expired 5/28, so I'm on my own with the car now.

I got an estimate on getting my Borla axleback installed but it was higher than I expected, perhaps due to the fact my car is a late 2014 when Cadillac switched to a single inlet pipe to the muffler from the resonator. So I need some custom work done.

Anyway, found this cool mural after Cars & Coffee, pulled over to snap a pic. Old and new. :)
