I have a 1999 Catera....I tried programming the sunroof according to the instructions in the manual but after 20 or 30 minutes I gave up....I turn it to the close position and it will either open all the way or a quarter of the way...I have to mess with it to finally getting it to close but it is on the tilt position and that is the only way it will stay closed....A mechanic says that the switch is bad and needs to be replaced but I don't trust them after some bad business with them (not a caddy dealership)....Any ideas on what I can do to try and fix the problem....Or should I get a new switch?
