Problem With CD Player...DISC Not Selectable

I have a 2007 Escalade. My battery died earlier today. Immediately after I got it jumped, the XM was just static and DISC was not selectable on the nav screen. The AM and FM radio and their tabs worked fine. Since then, the XM has returned to normal, but DISC is still not selectable. I have CDs in there. I've tried pushing and holding down the stack of discs button and the eject button. But I get nothing. Anybody experience this problem or have any fixes? Thanks in advance.

A graceful power reset might do it. It always seems to work for me. Remove the negative cable from the battery far a couple of minutes and reinstall it. Everything electronic reboots.
