Cadillac considers the STS the best luxury sedan they’ve ever made-- and they’re not wrong. Traditional Caddy buyers will be pleased with their new whip. But any Cadillac exec that thinks the STS’ has enough ride, handling or comfort to lure buyers out of their bombing Bimmers, massive Mercs and liquid Lexi did too many mind-altering substances in the 70’s. More worryingly, the STS lacks sufficient sizzle to delight the Brothers. If Caddy wants to maintain its current momentum, they need to stop chasing Eurostyle and, like Chrysler did with their gangsta-rrific 300C, get down with their bad selves.

What a joke! They obviously "got into" that car with the notion and stereotype that they hated it anyway. The STS would be my first choice for a new car that one could afford for a luxury car. Perhaps they should talk about Mercedes Benz electronics, or the sludge problem in certain Totota/Lexus.

Cadillac was criticized when they didn't make handling cars like the Europeans, and they are still criticized when they do put out competitive product. Go figure! :helpless:

The STS is a world class car that does in fact " Break Through" with its wonderfully original style that no other car in the world can match. I personally feel for real world driving the STS is the best luxury /sport sedan on the market.

I'm wondering if he ever even drove the car? Journalist...what a joke. To be a journalist, one needs to be objective. He founded the site. Rates every single car he's reviewed higher than the STS.

I said this in another post...I'll say it again...of all the caddies I've owned I have never gotten more compliments from young men 16-22 range, than I have with my 05 STS. In fact I have gotten more in the first three months with this car than I have with the other 7 combined, one of which is an Escalade! This I report with surprise...and objectivity!

Its no secret that Cadillac uses the Hip/Hop community and Movie starts to help make there vehicles appeal to the masses. You can read any major review and they always have private shows for Hollywoods heavy hitters. They are smart, cause they throw it in a music video and ever kid wants one and points them out to there parents like it going out of style.

If you do not agree then why is Cadillac Escalade offered with 22 from the factory now and with the option of aftermarket fabrics? They want to remove the aftermarket and offer it direct from the factory.
