Preparing for V-Day 3

Decided to use V-Day 3 as an excuse to get some stuff done that I wanted to do. Had a mild cam done at TTP in New Jersey by Matt. New #'s are 490 hp and 453tq. Cam specs are 224/230 lift .3590/.3560 lobe sep 115.0. While doing the cams I changed the oil pump and replaced it with a Melling HV oil pump. Also the balancer was showing some wear so I replaced that with a ATI Super Damper. I also replaced the tranny and motor mounts with a set of UUC mounts that I picked up from Luke and also a new UUC Leather wrapped shift knob. To finish up, tomorrow I am having a Spec Stage 2+ Clutch and Aluminum flywheel installed along with a new slave, that again I got from Luke and a LAPD remote clutch bleeder. Almost forgot new slotted and drilled rotors. Thats it I'm ready :yup:

Have you buttoned it up yet? You may want to rethink those MMs.

Rotors look kick butt, btw. :thumbsup:

Whoa Linden, what were the gains from that cam?? Like 40+ hp?

Hey Tony it picked up 50hp and 30tq. TTP has a dyno day today. I think its $63.00 for 3 pulls.

So I guess I have you to thank for the shift knob as well. Linden told me I couldn't live without it and he was right. As soon as his beast is off the lift, I can get my LS7 clutch installed.

I was at TTP on Saturday and a bunch of guys that hang around the shop regularly were talking about how evil your car sounded! :2thumbs:

I installed the knob a week after the UUC shifter and bushings. IMO the heavy knob did just as much as the shifter itself.
Damn, seems like V-Day III is gonna be a blast. (I'm cursing right now)

You got the super damper eh? which one did you get? the 10% A/C and 25% ACCY.... or 25% everything?

It sounds like a whole bunch of us are coming from the tristate area to V day. We should come up with a meeting place and convoy down.
