These Eldorados have a guide track that is covered in grease and sits exposed to all kinds of dirt and debris. I'd start by taking off the door panel and insulator, you'll see all the areas that have grease on them. Clean them all well with WD40, get all that old grease off, and re-lubricate them with fresh grease.

It's likely though at this point the motor itself is gummed up inside as well. I believe the motor can be replaced separate from the rest of the regulator. But I would try cleaning the tracks first.

how do you take off the door panels?

I have the same exact issue....also my rear passenger door won't open from the inside and its not the child safety lock (unless its broken and some how stuck on)

Sevilles window regulators are probably nothing like the Eldo, but door panels are similar. I'm not sure on the Seville, but a search on the forum should turn up the info. There's usually 2 hidden screws, then you *lift* the door panel off, never pull.
