Here's some pics made with my crappy phone, that does my computer no justice whatsoever.

The two "eyes" under the main row of LED's used to glow, but the fan that provided the light for them blew a bearing. a new one is on the way :D

I'm a traitor. :shhh:

My Cadillac keys are better :p They're original gold keys from the dealer, almost unused, the teeth on the ignition key aren't worn a bit. (That's the good set, I use the not so good set when I drive.)

Nice looking tower, somehow I knew you would be the first one to respond with pics.

Believe it or not those pics of my PC are from my phone (HTC Touch Pro) I love it.

Those keys may be golden but you don't have a Fox Racing lanyard! :D

Better change that background to a Cadillac logo before I drive into the city and destroy your pc!

You play CS:S? Interested in joining a scrim team me and my friends are currently in the process of making? No ones very good me and my other friend are probably the best, but we do have a 10 man private 100 tick Chicago server.

Anyone else? Me and Rodya are all alone over here huh?

I've got a 3 year old Dell tower... it's ok, but I don't use it much. I much prefer using my MacBook.

My MacBook has no particular setup; it is usually in the bed with me with the power adapter on the other side. I love it very much.

I can't imagine life back on a PC. It's like going from an Cadillac to a Cavalier.

The only way to run Windows is with a lot of hardware. Windows is so memory intensive I have a 200gb drive in my machine that's ONLY for Windows. for everything else I have a 750gb drive, as well as over 2TB worth of drive on other machines throughout the house. Giving Windows it's own drive allows it to run a lot smoother, because nothing else is in the way of its flop space.

I'd consider OSX superior to Vista, but that's only because Vista blows. I'm running a highly modified version of XP, and I have a disc with Windows 7 RC Ultimate 64-bit right here next to me, and I'm dying to install it. :D

I've got Vista Basic on my Dell (I know, the crappiest one) and it's still slow as hell. This isn't a super slow PC either - AMD Athlon 64-bit x2 Dual Core 3800+, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, 160GB 7200rpm HD; the only thing holding it back is the integrated graphics. I've had 3 PC's and 7 Mac's, and while I like certain things about both platforms I have usually always preferred the Mac.

BTW I'm jealous of the two Aluminum MB's. I really want a new one, but mine just turned 1 last month. I'll upgrade in a year or two to a MacBook Pro; i've always wanted one.

And that is in your car?
:histeric:

Where else would I put it? It runs my car and when I get out it comes with me... to the Mall, to the park, onboard aircraft, rental cars, cruise ships. The damn thing has three times as much mileage on it than my car, but yes, that's its primary home.

Old 15" monitor I bought from a Circuit City liquidation sale. $20.

Acer laptop. The power connector is screwed up so I have to keep it in a fixed position on my desk or else it loses charge. As a result, its become a low-profile desktop PC. It is essentially no longer portable.

The netbook is my brother's. $150 from Woot.com

I moved all my stuff to my little office that I for my small web/photography business, crummy pic but here it is:

You're looking at a 15" MacBook Pro with 2.33GHz Core2Duo, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD and all the other ususal Mac refinements ( ;) ) sitting on top of a modified Akasa notebook cooler.
It's hooked up to a 24" Samsung monitor (colour calibrated with a Pantone Huey which you can see below the monitor and makes continuous adjustments based on the light level in the room) which acts as the main screen, with my email/Twitter/iTunes etc running on the Macbook screen.
I use the metal Apple (wired) keyboard and a Logitech MX Revolution cordless mouse along with a small Wacom graphics tablet.
The speakers are a 2.1 Creative labs setup (sub under the desk) and you can see an old Apple iSight firewire camera on top of the monitor.

The printer is an OKI colour laser on a network connection.

The natty PC under the desk runs XP and is hooked into the Samsung on the VGA input. I have no idea what spec it is, I think it's a HP. It's a POS.
It runs XP and IE6 so I can check my websites display OK.
The Macbook Pro also runs Sun Virtualbox software so I can run Vista Home Premium (why is there more than one version? I mean, seriously?!) in a window running IE7 to check that too.

The whole smash (except printer) runs off a 500VA UPS under the desk.
