Anyone in this forum added aftermarket rims to their ride? If so, what size / brand / etc.

Now I see what happens to them recycled Satelite dishes. :histeric:
I'm joking!! I like big rims but no rims over 18 inches for me. Them potholes I got around here would destroy the bigger rims.

Was thinking of putting some aftermarket rims on my 2003 Escalade but not sure on the size to get. I am a little worried about bending rims but not sure if 20's or 22's would be able to handle the weight and of course the potholes. Any suggestions on size?
I'm going with 24's and a 2/3 drop to alleviate the wheel gap. Anything smaller on an Escalade is too small (just my opinion).
I went for the 20" Centerline Edge II wheels on 285/50/20 tires. They were designed for SUV's, and they have held up great. Looks very nice without looking too, too BLING :coolgleam
I was looking at a set of 22's, but I think I prefer how your 20's fill up the wheel well. I don't have many, if any, good pics of a 2000 on 22's without being lowered. I'm not sure if the sidewall would be high enough on 22's to prevent the rim from getting damaged.

Decisions..decisions....
I just went through hundreds of threads and didn't find one so I'll ask.

Post pics of your Escy's shoes. Post the 17's, post the 30's. Also Include ride height mod specs if any...

I'm looking for 24's myself...

Nice! Seeing these on an ESV makes me want to get one...

Where is the best place to get the U2 rims? I see them around a lot with prices all over the map.
Yeah I would be curious about that too. Those rims are really nice, remind me a lot of my old Boss 335s (except 6 spoke). Just a clean deep dish wheel. Do they come in black?

Hey guys I got some new rims but to go with my blacked out theme I plastidipped them. But I wanted to see how my truck would look without all the black but I'm torn between the two styles. so which one you guys like better?

The black wheels are very different but I like the chrome wheels better.
Black, hands down. Looks awesome! How was the plasti dip process on the wheels? I did my grill lights and emblem with it and was thinking about doing my stock rims as well. Did you end up taking all the rims off for paint, i know most do.

Yes sir they do! here
How many costs of pasti dip did you guys use? Have you tried washing yet, how does it hold up? Both sets look awesome. What size are the rims OP?
That truck all black looks sweet. I like the look alot.
