Ok I have a 1998 Deville D'Elegance and driving home yesterday I pull my plastic sunvisor down (the one behind the cloth covered one) and it broke :rant2:eek:ff. The screws are still in the visor mount but I cannot figure out how do get to them. Do I have to take the whole headliner out (lord I hope not! :worship:)? I found a part # stamped into them but I haven't called my local dealer yet for a price, anyone know how much they are (just the parts)?

You do not have to remove the headliner to replace the plastic visor.
Your best bet would be to locate them at a salvage yard. I have had the same situation, so I have an extra set including the contraption they attatch to ( and that is a complicated set of strings and springs).
They were not the best design as they were easy to break off.
Replacement of the plastic visor is fairly straigt forward.
Good luck.

So how do I remove them? I don't want a bunch of little parts falling off... it looks like with patience and a small L shapped screwdriver I can take it off...
