Pictures of LED running lights 2009 CTS

I pulled the fuzes out on the DLR's DRLs. Now I would like to add some LED strip lights to be on with the parking lights running. Anyone do this? I don't want to add fog lights.

If so please show pictures and info. Where did you get them? How difficult to install?

I was wondering about this as well. I didn't know there was a dedicated fuze for just the DRL's. Do you have the base headlight? Where the running light is just a bit of light in the projector bulb?

If so, you might be able use one of these little fuze points that replaces the fuse with a 12 volt power source. That would work if the fuze is only hot when the DRL's are on. That way the LED's would switch off when your lights actualy come on. Which is a nessesity here in va, where LED's are a bit restricted.
Howdy Smoke, I did find on this site a great picture of the fuze box and what 2 fuzes I had to pull. I only have the base lights, No fogs. So after pulling the 2 fuses I now don't have daytime running lights.
I now turn the arm on the steering column (PARKING LIGHT SWITCH) counter clockwise to run the small lights next to the main bulbs. Looks nice, but still what to add some LED strip lights with these little guys.
If I find some I like I will just splice the wires into the parking light wires. So they go on when I turn of the light column switch. Well that's my plan...

No need to pull the fuze, just replace them with 5202 led bulbs from lighturway on ebay. Did mine by removing all of the upper fasteners for the bumper and flipping the bumper cover forward enough to pull the headlight assembly out. See the pic, they were plug-n-play so no mods needed. Did my fog lights too, from same seller.

What picture are we looking at? And can you provide link?
Sorry about that, pic upload from mobile didn't work. Here is the link http://stores.ebay.com/lightyourway/
The pic shows both DRLs with LEDs and you can see the difference in the fogs.

Me and the OP have base model headlights, not HID's. So ours are completely different. Plus he was talking about adding LED strips or something to the front end, not just changing the color or intensity of the stock lights.
I like the color. Did you say that you did not have to pull the entire bumper to install?
No you don't. There is a video on you tube showing how to do it.

I am going to change my drl's to led also. Too many cars are going with the led strip and I personally think it looks cheap.

i added LED DRL & Blinkers. The blinkers i used LED Projector WHITE 880 bulb but had to make my own attachment, and DRL LED Projector 5205, then i order 6000K HID for my Fog Lights, but i think they sent me 8000K on accident. Im still waiting for my replacements. Remember you have to buy those Aluminum resistors for the DRL & Front Blinkers. Or they will Hyperflash, &/or burn on after 2 days.

Are you using the lightbar as your DRLs? In the last pic it looks like you have the lightbar headlights and fogs on. No pics of the actual DRL or blinkers.
