New to me '13 Coupe

Hi everyone! Picked this up in Moncton, NB at the end of July with just over 13K kms. First Cadillac I've ever owned and it's awesome. Took it on a road trip to NL and it ran great. Averaged about 10.5l/100 kms or 25 mpg at 100 kph. These cars aren't very plentiful in Halifax and the coupes even less so. It might just be a keeper!:)

I still have mine but it is an extremely rare European version (global homologation) which cannot be exported back to the USA since it has certain design features that are not found on the US version. I just drove it from Rome to Berlin and back and I can confirm what most Germans told me about sunroofs. The Germans DO NOT BUY THEIR CARS WITH SUNROOFS because even closed shut they are way too noisy. I can confirm that - at speeds above 150-160 kmh I began to hear a rush of noise above my head and as I topped out at 303 kmh it was truly annoying. So my next Cadillac will not be ordered with a sunroof which in any event also adds weight, complexity and torsional weakness. As for the rest, it handled beautifully and even the brakes held up well with repeated stops from 250 kph. Happy to detail the design differences between the US and EU versions and will consider selling it if you want to keep a CTS-V in Europe. Much more fun to drive here and as my daughter said when driving in Germany, "Dad, why would anyone buy a sports car/sedan outside of Germany?" Good question.

Yes - Cadillac made very few models with RHD such as the 2nd gen CTS (but not the CTS-V) and the STS (but not the STS-V). Besides my cars are garaged in Rome and the whole continent with the exception of the islands is LHD - only the UK, Ireland, Malta and Cyprus are RHD and one wonders when they are going to shift over like Sweden did in 1967 when overnight they switched from RHD to LHD.

I would like to get a 2017 ZL1 - the previous Camaro was a bit lardy especially in comparison to the CTS-V. But the new Camaro is a scalpel and compares very favorably to the CTS-V

No patience. Go pick it up, see it for yourself, and drive her home. Well worth it. I drove 1200 miles for mine and wanted to keep on driving when I got home.
