I am happy owner of 2007 Cadillac Escalade.
There is any way I could add a photo radar locations on my NAV system. Not as a destination point :), but sort of a POI. I would like the NAV to warn me each time I will get close to location where the photo radar is installed.

i doubt htere's such technology out there to do this yet but I use an Escort 9500ix radar/laser detector that utilizes GPS and a provided updated database from Escort to notify you of these..red light cameras, known photo speed traps etc and is updated monthly and downloadable into the unit...check Escort's site

Do you just mean mark the points you know on a map? You can do that but it won't alert you, you'd just see the marks on the map.

That's easy...on an aftermarket system. I've actually seen that as an advertising point/tactic during the head unit search I was on. I ended up with a Kenwood DNX7140, the item description stated;

You can manually load custom points of interest (POI) databases, available from various companies on the Internet. Some custom POI databases contain alert information for points such as safety cameras and school zones. The navigation system can notify you when you approach one of these points (Proximity Alert). You can download the custom POIs onto a CD-R or DVD-/+R, which can then be loaded into the unit's disc-slot.

It's a feature that I could care less about...but I thought it was interesting for sure...
