Does anyone have any info on torque converters for the 3.6? From what I read it has a 6L45 transmission? Does it have the same torque converter as a 6L50? I'm not seeing anything other than stock replacements for a 6L45. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I think he's saying a tune will add a lot of low end to a 3.6.. Remember a 3.6 has a 11.5 compression ratio, tuned to run on 87 octane regular gas.. Imagine how much more aggressive it's timing curve could be, if tuned for 93 octane..

With that said... A higher stall converter will add a tremendous amount low rpm grunt.. Not just by letting the motor go to a higher rpm faster.. But also by increasing the torque multiplication that a converter can give..
