Hi there! can anybody give me some opinion and how to check headgasket o.k. or bad ? And how to use the DIC ?Because this Coming weekend I will go to see a Eldorado.Year 1998. 210000KM.Thank you!

The only positive way to check for a bad headgasket is to pressurize the cylinders one at at time with shop air and an adapter that screws into the spark plug hole and look for air bubbles in the coolant surge tank as well as listen for air in the exhaust system.

Listen for any clunks from the suspension, the problems there usually won't set a code but they can be costly to fix.

they asking for $5000Cad.The car should be something wrong.Otherwise can not be that cheap.Anyway tomorrow I will go see it.
