You know what, I have. There's just conflicting info and also I have some highly tuned cars already, so it's on the back burner.

Going to start the stereo next week.

I hear you on the conflicting info. Every time I thought I had a contender, I'd read a bunch of negative reviews. I almost pulled the pin on the Livernosis tune, then read some really bad and incredibly detailed reviews on the forums which were 180 from the glowing reviews claiming 90+ hp gains. Unfortunately, that seems to be the case with almost all of them...

Maybe I'll do it this spring/summer just for the heck of it, but I'll be super disappointed if I drop over a grand (with dyno and fine-tuning time) and have it perform poorly.

I was looking at those but was concerned about how the system would behave without the magnaride connection. Although, I have to say I've had it with OEM struts and shocks. My '16 only has 27k on it and I've already had to replace the rear shocks once and the front right strut, twice.... Ride is still not right.

I actually reread that thread last night and noticed the updated activity from you and a few others. It was nice to see others are still working on these cars and I'm not alone in trying to figure out which tune works best for me.

Considering the cost of a Schmidty, or similar tune is ~$800, then you add in the hp tuner with 2 credits for another $500 and with plugs and dyno time if you want it dialed in right, you'd be laying out over 2K for a stock tune.

I'm not devaluing the data stream from hp tuners approach, but question how often I would leverage that data once I got past building out custom screens & selectors in Dashcommand

This is where Livernosis seems to fit into the sweet spot for the casual tune on a daily driver...assuming it works lol. For under 700 you get a vanillaish tune which seems to work fine for some, while others haven't had the same results.

After little thought, I will likely try the Livernois tune come spring. I'll do a detailed write up of my thoughts if I do. I'm no car tuner, but I am a car guy and usually have 5 or more on the go . Lots of highly tuned cars in my past and present so I might have some idea of what it can and can't do and maybe what to expect. At least it will be one more opinion, fwiw. If I could stiffen up the shifts etc I'd be happy enough.

about this. I actually always wanted to do a full aftermarket air bag system.4 corner independent with a digital controller to lay frame when I park. They are pretty good now. This car would really suit it.

I put the Livernois tune on my '17 XTS V-Sport and it exceeded my expectations.
