anyone have any luck connecting devices via HDMI? whenever i plug something in it's like 1/10th the size of the screen and i see where you can zoom in a little but it doesn't work well. are you not able to plug in an ipad or something so we can watch netflix etc? i've been sorely disappointed with the passenger screen so far.

Post moved from Escalade EV forum.

I have a 2025 and tried a fire tv on the rear screens last night after your post. It was a little smaller but basically full screen on the rear passenger displays. On the front screens it was a bit smaller than the full panel display. But still a decent enough size for viewing. It just didn't stretch the whole length of the available display space. Probably 75%.

I was going back & forth between the 2025 Cadillac Escalade EVS platinum luxury with the executive 2nd row package and another SUV. And, just when I thought I’d made up my mind to pull the trigger on the Escalade I’m seeing all these complaints on the passenger and rear seat infotainment systems.
I’m super disappointed. Hearing about all these issues with the front passenger side infotainment system/screen, user friendliness, lack of use ability/capabilities, inability to use additional downloaded apps and rear infotainment user friendliness at this price point is absolutely unacceptable to me. I have 9 year old twins and often have a car load full of kids. I was looking at this SUV in particular because 3 kids can be watching the same thing at the same time together (that is, if the front passenger screen actually worked as it states it should). Additionally, because our time is limited (and, children’s patience is VERY limited), I need things to work as they should quickly and easily. I hate to have to repeat this again but at this price point, having to go out and buy additional items to rig my new SUV up to in order for the components to work properly is UNACCEPTABLE. I think I’ll wait to see how long it takes Cadillac correct these issues with software updates before making any decisions. Thanks everyone for posting all the amazing work-arounds & semi-fixes. 🙏🥰

You just need to buy an Apple TV for the back. No need for other apps on the car just use the Apple TV.
