Passenger door mirror repair

Hello, I have a 2011 base with a broken p/door mirror. My mirror hit the mirror of a parked car will traveling down a narrow street. My mirror was snapped inward, the glass popped out and was left dangling. All power functions work (motor, LED, turn signal). Glass was attached to front of actuator motor housing, but front of housing detached from fixed actuator.

Actuator is GM 25808706 or 25808704 and is a 2 piece item. Actuator screws into mirror housing. Front plate is somehow attached to fixed actuator, and then mirror attaches to plate.

Front plate is round, with a flat surface facing the mirror, and a lip around half of the plate. The lip mounts facing the actuator, the flat part has tab slots that the mirror glass snaps into.

How do I reattached front plate to actuator ?

Thank you.

EXACTLY My problem is shown in the beginning of the video- the 2 pieces I have are separated. However he does not show how to reassemble the pieces, instead he goes on to show how to replace the entire component (both pieces),

How do I reattach the 2 pieces that are shown at the beginning of the video ?

Thank you !

Thanks ALL ! The video was helpful and I figured out how to get everything back together. All functions are working, but the mirror glass is cracked from the incident. A new glass face is enroute, and I can use the mirror until I can install the new glass.

Glad the mirror repair is working out a-otay!

On a sidenote and off-topic -- the wheels on this 2013 Platinum in the video are the wheels that are on my non-plat '07 ESV

I don't think the 14-spokers came stock on an '07, amirite? All the photo searches I do seem to indicate as such..
