Hey folks,

I was changing my oil the other day and took a look at my transmission since I knew there was a leak. It looks like my drivers side axle seal is clean, no leaks, which I know there are a lot of problems with that side. My PASSENGER side axle seal, on the other hand, is leaking pretty bad. Just a drop here and there, but when I park the cR after it being in reverse, there’s a good 7-10 drops that come out of it.
I’m curious if anyone has any experience with this and if there are any common issues I should know about? I know the bearings are a big issue on the drivers side, but with this being the passenger side, is it also a problem or will a simple replacement gasket fix the leak? Thanks!

You can repack the half axle or you can replace it. It's pretty easy to replace the passenger side one. Drive side is a little harder because of how the transmission sits.

I think he's talking leaking ATF, not axle grease.
