I have had that problem too. After a tear down and reassembly, there is usually a part or two left over!
Nobody has been working on the car, found one on the driveway near the rear passenger side door, the other a few weeks later in the driveway. Have looked at all four doors, rear hatch and hood for anyplace they might fit and found nothing. I assumed they were isolators but have no idea where they came from.
Well, they do appear like-new, even never installed condition. A visiting bodyshop or carbiz friend or relative with a loose pocket? They might use things like that on kiddie toys like a little motorized car. Anything recently picked up with a lid or panel like a portable generator or mig welder? A new rooftop travel pod?
Nope to all above, and yes they show no wear at all. The first one was in my driveway, the second one was in my sister's driveway about 800 miles away so I am reasonably sure they came from the XT4 but sure can't pinpoint from where...

How freaky is this. i had one show up to in the rear compartment. Surely a Gm guy on this site will know where they belong

I think these rubber parts are from rear cargo cover stops this touching tailgate glass

So easy to lose, I have lost one too
