Hi guys, went to take my 21 in for its first service at the end of January. The check engine light briefly flashed, so I wanted to check that too. I was told that there was a problem with the power inverter but that the factory did not have the part we would have to wait.

My Escalade has now been sitting in the dealership parking lot for six weeks. They are still reporting that the factory is not making the part. There is no timeframe for its availability.

Just a heads up guys, I hope this does not happen to you, but it appears that they cannot actually provide parts for this car. Anyone else have this experience?

Gave me a loaner after 1 week when one freed up but its a 2018 as they have no new cars.

Agreed I COULD still drive it but service guy did not recommend as any of the power systems (including driving systems) could go out at any time. Tempted to take it back at this point with no end in sight and no recourse.

I have been waiting over a month for my park assist module. Sensors go nuts whenever I backup. Total pain in the ass.

This Escalade is really getting on my nerves, more and more.

I'm glad I kept my 2017 Escalade. I kept it because I know what GM is like.

I am still driving my new one of course, of course. Looks great, but the built quality and paint job are pretty awful.
