I have a SRX AWD 3,6L V6 from 2008
The check engine light was light suddenly, when I connected my code scanner the check engine light disappeared without any chance to see the code.
After a few weeks the check engine lighte appeared again, this time I could see
The code was P0021.
I have been reading that this might make the engin hard to start, bad idling or
engine stalling. Nothing of this happend to my engine, it starts as easy as normal,
It idle nice and smooth.
Have anyone an idea what to do?
Can it be the camshaft sensor?
I was changing the oil to Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 A5 fully synthetic , the oil is
recommended by Ford. Is it wrong type of oil?

Happy for answers

Oil level, cleanliness and pressure are important. Being intermittent, look to wiring connections. Could be very early sign of chain stretching.
