I just got a P1106 DTC..Intermitint high voltage to MAP sensor..What would cause this? What is the fix? It doesn't sound as if the sensor is bad to me.By that,I mean the code is not a bad sensor but rather a too high voltage in the circuit.I know that as the vacuum goes down the voltage to the sensor goes up.Suggestions?

I's not "willingness". If no one answered, it's probably because no one had an answer. Personally, if it where me, I think I'd replace the sensor.

??? Willingness to help ???? No good ideas or hands-on experience here, either. If you choose to "move on" then that's your call.

Just for grins I looked at the P 1106 writeup in the "All Diagnostic Codes" menu for my STS in www.alldatadiy.com. There is an extensive description and explanation text as well as diagnostic tree. The GM/Cadillac service manuals are useful in some cases.........
