Wondering if any audio guys could tell me if I got over-quoted on this. All I want and asked for was a "basic" sub set-up in my Eldorado - I don't want anything *too* loud, just a little low-end pick-up.

Anyway, here's what Cartoys quoted me (the prices seemed okay, but I think it's the items they may have exaggerated a bit on):

For a g you can do better than that... Id get two perfects for $100 a piece of ebay get a Infinity 1211a 1300watt amp for $250 on ebay. Then if you can install id do that if not buy the box and wiring from the stereo shop and tell um to install. This way your only spending a little less but your system will be twice as accurate at producing bass and when you want to impress you can turn it up and it will hit pretty hard. The perfects have excellent sound quality and decent sound pressure levels. You could go JL w3v2s and that would also sound very good. Just some thoughts. Later E
