It's not leaking water, water pump works, radiator was replaced about four years ago, does not have a thermostat since I've had it eight years now, motor oil is good, and it overheats all the sudden after about seven miles.

put the correct T-stat in it -
along with a new radiator cap -
and report back in the morning -

Sounds like a HG failure. Do a block test after the next overheat episode.
