It kills me to write this, but here we go. I took possession of our Optiq 10 days ago and everything has been great, but I saw a post on Facebook about someone's rear speakers not working so I decided to play around with mine ...

No sound from the rear door speakers ...

When I go into the sound menu, and select Fade/Balance and drag the icon around the screen, I go no volume out of the rear door speakers and very little out of the speakers in the very back of the car.

Back to the Sound Menu, you can see below that it is set to "Front":

When I select that, I get a quick glimpse of another screen where I should be able to play with various Sounds Modes, including Surround Sound, but it disappears as soon as it shows up (I had to take a video to get the image below).

Anyway, I've reached out to my Cadillac guy and am considering a reset of the system, but I'm waiting to hear from my dealer before doing that.

Not to be unexpected from a brand new model, just a bit disappointing.

I will update as I have more info and hopefully a quick resolution.

To me this restricted view is more of a distraction than if the list just scrolled as expected.

Also, if Supercruising do you have the same restrictions? If so, should you?

I constantly receive messages that I'm distracted when in reality it's just my hand placement on the wheel... I'm not sure why I brought that up other than to relate that maybe the entire design is a little overzealous?

That's the TSB number you had posted earlier. See post #112.
Looks as though the Atmos update was more an issue of the system crashing if I read the TSB correctly.
that's not the atmos update... that was for the sound mode fix. It fixed a missing menu.

It doesn't help in my case... nothing seems to 😔

Playlist and song libraries are never the same as my phone. I went into Amazon and removed all authorized devices, started fresh. Removed the app, restarted infocenter, reinstalled, signed in, not even close to being in sync. Even after days of use and reboots.

I have had our OPTIQ Sport 2 for almost two weeks and having issue where the level 2 charge setting changes by itself. I can have it set to 80% on both the app and in the vehicle and if I don’t keep an eye on it the level changes to 50% by itself and stops charging leaving me short on a charge when I need it for travel. at first I thought it was a fluke but it has happened several times already.

I thought it may have been my home location setting and some underlying percentage setting that i havent yet found so I deleted that out of the app once I realized it changed to 50%.

I then reset to 80% to restart the charging only to wake up this morning to find out it reset itself to 70% but actually charged to 75%.

I'm experiencing a bug with Amazon music. Sometimes Amazon will stop playing tracks in Dolby Atmos. I try to listen to songs that I know for sure have a Dolby Atmos mix but the screen does not display that it is playing the Dolby Atmos version. The only way to 'fix' this is to reboot the operating system (while parked hold the hang up button on the steering wheel for 20 seconds). Once the reboot completes I am able to access Dolby Atmos mixed content. There doesn't appear to be anything in particular that causes this to occur but I've had it happen a few times.

I just tested this scenario and was surprised to get a pop-up message on the car screen, after which it played in ATMOS anyway, lol

I had both my phone and car playing in ATMOS format on the same Amazon account at the same time. Both showed the ATMOS logo during playback (thankfully because its hard to hear on my phone speakers).

Sequence matters, the second device to start playing puts up the warning, the first device just keeps playing. I did not extensively test though, maybe after few tracks it fails?

Anyway I'm not sure but don't think this is what happened earlier. Earlier there was no concurrent streaming message and the song clearly had the ATMOS label as it silently played. For the tracks that worked the car did not display the ATMOS label.

I have the same bug which I believe is brought up by the recent update which broke my garage door opener. I have the Tidal subscription and ATMOS track are playing on mute and non-ATMOS are fine. I'm the only one using Tidal and on my mobile player it is signed out. Re-installing TIDAL app did not fix anything. I gave up and left the car off for a few hours. Came back and all is working again.

As for the Garage door opener, it stopped working. Trying to add or delete the existting remote doesn't work. It just stays on the screen whatever I pressed. Even the back to previous menu (exit) doesn't work.

And lastly, voice navigation asking Google assistant directions to an address, point of interest does not work. Only directions to predefined Home and Work address work.

By the way, I have restarted Android Automotive (Infotainment) many times during troubleshooting.
