LOL it i could sell it for 8 if i wanted to.93fleetwoodlowlow said:well... you ruined my whole reason for posting. dont worry i found another one. really unless you own a limo company what would be the sense in having a limo? to sell to your UNCLE WHO OWNS FOR FOR 4,5k POUNDS THATS WHAT!!!
around here they dont sell funeral cars. i tried to get them to sell me a 96 Fleetwood Limo, a 96 Fleetwood hearse, and a 2000 DHS (not a limo or nothing) but they wouldnt do it. ok let me clarify a little here: my friend works for the funeral home and he was talking about the new Cadillacs they just bought and were sending the old ones to "the yard". some place where they send the old funeral cars. basically, they get junked... sold for parts. its terrible. i tried like hell to get them to sell them to me but they wouldnt. very nice looking too, i dont know why they could have got more out of me than "the yard" they wouldnt tell me where "the yard" was either. my friend who works there said that it is in Kentucky he thinks but isnt sure.mccombie_5 said:LOL it i could sell it for 8 if i wanted to.
The problem is, funeral directors like to have a matching fleet and not one odd limousine. And this cannot be used as a non funeral limousine, because it has the higher roofline etc asssosiated with a mourners car.
All 6 door limousines loook like funeral cars. What is i tint the windows, removed the handles from the middle doors, paint it pink, put 22" wheels on it and a monster sound system in the back? No? ah well.
Its just a good deal, the guys selling them because hes moved up to a Mercedes Benz fleet. He has three more limousines Omega limousines, an Omega based hearse, a pair of Volvo limousines, and a Volvo hearse, and three Rover 800 based limousines and a Rover 600 Based hearse, all for sale.
I think £4k is a good price considering their price new would have been huge due to the conversion

im not to sure. they just said, "we dont sell these cars to anyone, we send them to 'the yard'." i was like HELL GIVE THEM TO ME!!! i really dont understand why they wont sell them. i have seen some pimped out hearses and limos, i had plans for em. the DHS was going to be a daily. you see i could have got them all for less than what i paid for my CTS so i could have got three cars instead but they wanted to be bastards about it. they got new 2005 Devilles/ DHS' (limos and hearses). i dont know how many, that never came up. he was telling me about them. he gets to drive them and all that, he tried to get them to sell the cars to me but they wouldnt. oh they got a Lincoln TC also, go figure. i think it is for the funeral home director or something, i dont know.mccombie_5 said:Really?
Why!?!
Funeral cars cost so much money to create!!
They sell them all here, people do drive them and modify them, when i was younger a friend of mine used to drive a hearse......
I just think its a good deal for £4k, hes only sellling to make way for his new upgrades (three E-class hearses, nine E-class limousines, two Subaru Legacy wagons with blacked off back windows and a rear deck, and two Ford Galaxies in black with blacked off windows) and he needs to clear his garages

LOL i never saw the film, but i heard about it.KOBO said:How about your bad jokes???
Ever see the classic film Harold and Maude?
It stared Bud Cort and Ruth Gordon.
Harold was a kid obsessed with death, even drove around in a hearse (which Maude steals)
At one time his family, annoyed with his old hearse buys him a E-Type Jaguar....which he has converted to look like a hearse...

I dunno, maybe you can rent it out for weddings or convert it into a ice-cream truck!!
