Hello Friends,

i need a set of opera lights for my 87 Brougham. As mint as possible. I also would buy them aftermarket with leds. Or if anybody has a link for a website. I searched the whole web and even on ebay is nothing. She gets a new vinyl top soon and thats the chance do them too.

Thanks

BiggDaddyCaddy.com has lots of trim & emblems. Go here: http://www.biggdaddycaddy.com/search?q=opera lights

they ain't cheap, but it's OEM and/or super quality repro.
The '87 has the lamps between the doors. I don't think those have lamps that you can change. GM made that unit as a sealed unit. There was some Youtube video I watched some guy tear one apart to try to fix it.

Bigdaddycaddy does not have any to match it.

Your best bet would be to find a salvage unit. www.car-parts.com
Chances are the Cadillac King in CA would have it.

I can look up the part number and you can search eBay by the part number. Message me on here if you want it. I looked for a replacement for my '90 too just in case I ever needed one and no luck finding one on eBay also.

I don't know what year GM went from a bulb replacement unit to the sealed unit.

Part numbers
Left 914993
Right 914994

Here is what one looks like. Those appear to use the tape that illuminates when a current is passed thru it

200$ for a set would be ok but not 300$ per light.
It will be next to impossible to find a working set. Check on here, there’s a few write-ups on how to rebuild them.

I would never give any of those junkyards my money.
