My time is up for the trial period of wifi hot spot (which I never even used). ONSTAR has sent a notification, on the CUE 3.0, The problem with that is that it pops up every 3 to 7 minutesm either the complete “hope you enjoy the trial wi-fi hot spot…” message OR just the blank notification screen.
Four calls to ONSTAR to get rid of it and no help so far:
Call 1: we’ll disable wi-fi, NO HELP
Call 2 wait 30 MINUTES no tech support ever answered.
Call 3 Tech support not here today, do a factory reset to CUE, NO HELP.
Call 4 Feb 26 2019 ONSTAR claims to stop all notifications from being sent anymore, starts help ticket with off line tech support who will call you in 5-7 DAYS. NO HELP. Waiting...…

March 4 2019 Onstar offline tech calls and says they sent update to car to fix. No Joy still has notification pop up every 2 - 5 minutes. He left help ticket open. I called back and informed and stated I am going to fill out a NTSB report as this distracted driving prob. Awaiting the real fix.

Call 5 March 6, 2019 back to Onstar - no fixed, NOTIFICATION screen pops up every 2 to 5 minutes. Case still open I'll let Offline Tech Support know.

Distracted driving- if using NAV I have to hit back arrow or home button to get back to NAV. Did a 6 hour back roads trip with this crap popping up every 3-7 minutes.
Loved the car till this, did a 5000 mile trip to Yellowstone and not a single problem.
Now this has me wanting to get rid of the damn thing.

Talked to Tech support today, Over air software update today did nothing. Bottom line take it to dealer service for a SYSTEM RESET. I am to refer case #. App Thursday AM.

Took CTS in to 5 Star Cadillac WR, GA for notification problem today. They loaded software twice and it DID NOT clearing the problem.
They ordered a replacement CUE 3.0, should be in Friday or Monday. Expensive possible fix for an ONSTAR Notification problem.

NIGHTMARE CONTINUES---CUE 3.0 was replaced. Less than 100 miles later. blank notification screen pops up every FEW minutes AND the touch screen has spider webbed. Took back to dealer, same test failed on CUE 3.0 as before. Parts ordered again...ugh.
What does a CUE and a vacuum cleaner have in common???? BOTH SUCK!!!

Cue is why my 2016 ATS-V is my first, and last Cadillac. Not only is it unreliable, but a horrible system to use.

This is Exactly why I am sticking with 2013 and earlier Cadillacs. I'll get a Buick Cascada if I have absolutely MUST get a newer car...
