The weather in Ohio is crazy right now. Last weekend my wipers were frozen to the windsheld so i didnt use them. A few days later i tried using them and only the driver side is working. The passenger side only moves like a half an inch. I can see that the mechanism is still rotating in sync with the drivers side wiper but its acting like the wiper is to heavy to move. Can anyone help me with this problem.

Lift the hood. At the base of the wiper arm there is a plastic cover. Remove the cover, you may need a screwdriver but it should just pop off. You will see a nut. Tighten the nut and be sure you don't overdo it. You don't want to break anything. Try the wipers, if wipers move properly put the plastic cover back on.

It always good to check the wipers before using them during the winter. I had my wiper motor burn out on my oldsmobile from being stuck to the windshield. I now check my wipers just before getting in the car everytime, it is much easier than replacing a burnt one..
