You should check and post the codes here so we can tell if there are electrical issues or electrically-detected mechanical failures. It sounds like there are a multitude of issues that need to be resolved and there is no single answer that will help you with everything.SL1CK said:
It does sound like you need to clean the throttle body. You need some carb cleaner and a rag. Loosen the screw clamp on the air intake hose, unplug the connector on the air box, and remove the entire air cleaner and hose. There are three bolts that hold the MAF on (the part with the metal screen on it). Remove those three bolts, unplug the MAF, and remove it. Open the throttle blade by hand (push on the top half) and spray it down with carb cleaner. Use the rag and scrub the deposits off the throttle blade, around the circumference of it, and around the bore of the throttle body. Just keep spraying and wiping until you clean up everything in the area where the throttle blade sits. When it's all clean, put the MAF and air cleaner back and you're done.
