We all know Bose in our application pretty much sucks. I needed more when I jam Iron Maiden so I begged ssmith100 to help me out the day before our Houston meet.
We said hi and within 5 minutes were working.
Removing the doors is SIMPLE. Small screwdriver pry up the oval plate behing the grab handle, remove 2 screws, small screwdriver unlock and release the square tab on the lock, pull the bottom of the door out hard and take off panels. The knob things want to fall out.
Buy some GOOD deadener, pry the plastic off, remove the stock speakers and deaden the heck out of your doors. WEAR GLOVES. I am shredded in part from dynamat, in part on metal edges. At the meet the guys wondered if I had leprosy.
Shane did this for a living, his install was impeccable. My dynamat job...well it is mediocre at best.

Let me tell you about this place...they called me twice to say the Sub wouldn't work. Shane knows the details. Let's just say they talked me into a more expensive sub i didn't need.

Sound deaden that rear deck or your nice free air sub will rattle. Sound deaden everything you have exposed. I must be up to $200+ on deadener, planning to throw some more in the trunk.

Impressions: DO IT NOW. Yeah i say this about every mod, lol. But the car has bass now, and the Infinity rock. No plans nor reason to add another amp or headunit.

yes, sub amp controller.
factory amp for the Infinity speakers is fine, they rock.
Shane's going to go 1000 times farther than me, A-pillar tweeters and all different brands when he does his. For now, the tweeters are the only stock Bose speakers left
