hey guys i just bought a used 2008 cadillac cts black on black!!! I LOVE IT!!!!! But i noticed that when i drive that my oil pressure gauge increases to almost max but goes back down to around the middle when i am not applying and gas. Is this normal and if not what do you think the problem could be?

i meant not appling "any" gas not and gas. sorry!!! :O

yes, this is normal. it may go even lower when sitting at idle.

Mine goes to about one third on idle, when the car is warm, and a little over two third when I accelerate

Mine does the same; about 1/3 at idle when warm, and 2/3 during steady driving.

thanks guys. i just wouldnt assume that it would almost max out when i was getting on it.
