allright im working to get the fluids to stay in my car as im putting it up for sale soon. my current problem is two oil leaks, one on either side of the engine towards the back.

passenger side leak top


passenger side bottom


which is right above these hoses


drivers side bottom


any ideas peeps?

Valve cover gaskets. Shouldn't cost more than $30 per side. 1 hour labor per side and your good to go. Give the engine a good wash down before you do any work so any dirt/oil mix wont fall into the cylinder head when the valve covers are off. :thumbsup:

Yep looks like valve cover gaskets also , Just be sure you give the motor a good washing afterwards Just done the gaskets on my 97 and it smoked worse than when it was leaking those covers on the exhaust manifolds hide a LOTT of oil

Man I thought mine were bad (valva cover gaskets) but those look to have been at it a while.

Let us know how it goes. I plan to attack mine soon.


Maybe a good soaking with break cleaner before you get it apart? That shit makes oil cry.
