Oil Cooler for the V

710 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  StealthV
Once I put the B&B exhaust on, the temperature has fluctuated. In traffic it runs about 10 degrees hotter, when on the open road, it runs about 10 degrees cooler.

Was thinking (I know thats dangerous) that an oil cooler might give the V a bit more life and not make it work so hard in the LA traffic.

Who has put in an oil cooler? Who makes them? What do you recommend?

The Corvette Z06 includes an oil cooler. I wonder if that cooler would work on the V? I have seen a thread showing an oil cooler install for the V some time past.
Go to the faq and search for oil temp TSB,more than likely it is a inaccurate reading.Dealer visit for a flash.I had same thing.

Wait and see how the temps are after you get your PCM done later this month. It'll make a big difference.
