Hello!

So I have an 89 brougham that sits in the garage for winter. Should I be getting an oil change when I bring it back out for the summer? It's always way under 3,000 miles cause I don't drive it a whole lot.

Thanks!

Bassackwards - drive it a while in the fall, do the oil/filter, lay it up, drive it all summer/fall. Repeat.

It's the driving/engine running that introduces acids and moisture into the oil, not quiet layups.

Because at least two cylinders in a V-8 are always open to atmosphere with the engine off you might want to install a rag Tampax in the tailpipe(s) during layup. Battery Minder.
