I searched and don't see any posts about oil catch cans being installed on the new 2015's.

I installed one on my 2014 1LE Camaro and the thing works.

Our motors are designed to take oily fumes and send them right back into the air intake system.

Over time the oil builds up and slows down the volume and velocity of air that gets in the motor.

A catch can eliminates this by putting the can in the middle of the system, catching the oil and sending oil free air to the intake.

Anyone here done one yet?

I put a Elite Engineering can on the 1LE.

In reading about the 6.2's on the Caddy, it seems the engineers are aware of the oil issue and reworked the PCV system to reduce the oil going back into the intake.

They claim 3 times reduction in oil going back in.

Per GM Authority site:

PCV-integrated rocker covers: new domed rocker covers house a patent-pending integrated positive crankcase ventilation system that enhances oil life, reduces oil consumption and reduces exhaust emissions.
The domed sections of the covers contain baffles that separate oil and air from the crankcase gases, with about three times the oil/air separation capability of previous engines.

I would love to know real world experience to see if I need the can or not.
