For some reason if I use the gold Cadillac keys witht he crest and wreath emblem I bought on ebay to turn my ignition back to ACC (Meaning just the radio works) it won't work. The key just won't turn backwards any farther than the lock position. However if I use the GM keys pictured below it works. Anyone venture a guess as to why? It's odd, and I'm curious.

Maybe the gold keys weren't cut exactly perfect and that's why. Mine turns backwards. Try pulling it out a little bit when you turn it maybe that'll work.

the original keys are probably worn some, and your new keys are not. jiggle the key and the igntion a little bit and I bet it works.

Lol, its New Jersey... Clearly your new keys arent rusted enough to work.
