What is the viewable range of the coolant temp? It is has gotten real cold lately here in Florida and I saw the display read 58 degrees F. That is the lowest I have seen it. Kinda curious about how low it will read. Anyone know?

Probably not really low....... 100s would be my guess, as the engine has no need to detect temp that low!

Well if it's been down to 58 it's already gone below the 100s :banghead: :D

In the section that has that information in my Brougham service manual it says -22 - 161C.

That would be -8 - 322 degrees F. For anyone who has overheated their car, how high have you seen it? Being up north, I imagine you have seen some low coolant temps on winter mornings.

Probably. But only the Cadillac will give you a # like that and it's in storage. It's about -3 out right now... I guess mid 20s...

You've got me interested enough tho that I'll see if I can get a buddy of mine to get that # off his Cadillac sometime :D

I have now been thru the coldest the weather is going to get here in Florida. The lowest I was able to catch my coolant temp reading was 49 degrees.
