Forty-nine percent of New Yorkers say Rudy should run for the White House, while only 40 percent want Hillary Clinton do the same.

While more than two-thirds of Empire State Republicans [67 percent] want Rudy to seek the Oval Office, just 54 percent of Democrats [52 percent] say Hillary should run.

<snip>

While 51 percent of Independents back Rudy for president, just 38 percent want to see Hillary back in the White House.

A full 57 percent of New York Independents say they oppose a presidential bid by Hillary.

I, as a democrate do not want Hillary to run for the white house. She has to much baggage from her two term role as First Wife. Theres just to much that the Republicans would throw at her to disrupt the run. It's time for the Democrates to run a canadate that is not to 'far' left.

It won't happen. Scourge and the angry liberal mob have taken control of the DNC, and they won't let a moderate Democrat run for president as long as they feel the need to take revenge.

Don't get me wrong, moderate Democrats are running. But they are running to the Republican party!! :histeric:

I refuse to support a 'far left' democrat again. As you remember from the last election I really had a hard time supporting John Kerry. He was way to far to the left. I knew it was over from the start. People can talk about a 'rig election' all they want. It was only rigged by Kerry himself. If the Democrates don't run a 'real' canadate this year, the Republicana will win again.

What the Fvck is "Far Left"? I'm tired of hearing this mindless drivel as though it has any merit. Kerry was NOT Far Left by any stretch of the imagination, he was wherever the support was.

THINK people......THINK.

Maybe we really should have a third party.

And we should call it the Socialist Democrats!

We do think. And besides thinking you are the dumbest troll to have ever visited this site...

...we also think that a Senate record should be more important than what a candidate does or says on TV during an election.

It was John Kerry's record, and his life, that showed who he was/is and always will be.

Mindlessly saying a name is no better than the mindless tripe of Republicans. Kennedy has fought for working class people for decades, so you're going to actually have to come up with something tangible that proves him far out of mainstream America.

Think Michael Moore,
Same here. He makes documentaries that have been proven FACTUAL in content. Yes, he does have an agenda and never hides it. Stop being Republican-lite and actually offer something of substance.

Think John Kerry.
John Kerry pandered to everyone & it's just mindless of you to regurgitate the propaganda of Republicans.

You need to actually learn some history. Every politician taxes people at one point in time and you just giving a general statement about "solving social ills with social programs" smacks of mindless Republican propaganda.

I'm not saying that no credible evidence exists that could be used, but you haven't even started to Think....much less find it.

Maybe everyone does tax at one point, but I hardly ever see the Dems giving TAX CUTS, like Bush has done, like Reagan did.

With the Democrats its always about getting more tax money to help (as Reagan said) the "welfare queens driving their welfare Cadillacs." Instead of making these people go out and get REAL jobs, the Dems would rather let them have 4 kids from 4 baby daddies and sit at home and watch Oprah all day while they collect their welfare check. What the hell ever happened to personal responsibility in this country? It's a shame, and thank goodness we have a Republican president.

Reagan's tax cuts proved a failure just liek Bush's. You can have a hard on all you want to cut taxes, but you also have to pay your bills. As fopr welfare queens driving cadillacs, those are CEOs or major corporations who are getting the welfare. The pittance to the minorites doesn't add up to anything in the big picture.

ben, I'll take a step outside my persona and be quite honest about you final statements - you're either an idiot or a troll and neither is a particularly good thing to be. MY money is on both.

Republican light?? Dude your to much, I'll give you one prime example of what I mean by "cureing social ills with social programs"
these are based on REAL people I know..just not real names..

John and Mary move into there own house, have jobs then have a child. THEY have to pay there own hospital bill, PAY for there own medical insurence for there baby, PAY for there own food for the baby, one of them will have to leave there job becuse we know what child care cost.

Jenn goes out and gets pragnet, she has no job, goes to DSHS, gets FREE prenatel care payed by the state, her hospital bill is payed by the state, she moves into an apartment payed by the state, her food stamps are payed by the state, her babys medical is payed by the state. Why the hell would she want to get a job?? If she does she loses the freebies.

Jenn is a good friends daughter, John and Mary are friends of mine.

DSHS is The Department of Social and Health Services in Washington. If you happen to be a working tax payer in washington they wont help you. If happen to be a pragnet single mother or a drunk who cant keep a job or a drug user that cant keep a job they will welcome you with open arms.

"Curing social ills with social programs" or as I call it Rewarding illrespocability with the taxes of the respocable. These social programs have been around since the late 60s, They dont work.

Republican-lite is exactly what is killing the Democratic Party. Get off the car BBS boards and actually study issues and you'll see this. Whether or not you accept this is another matter.

Further, pointing out shitty government is nothing new to me. Ever heard of TennCare? Rife with fraud but started under a REPUBLICAN. You don't see me blaming the Republicans for it's mess. Why? Because it's the entire system that is flawed. Not enough resources go into fraud prosecution so that people who DO need it can get it.

I'm not going to back the Democrats everytime, but you ignore Republicans rewarding irresponsible business practices and yet you remain silent on that. Fvck the poor but the rich deserve all the breaks they get, huh?:bigroll:

It worked wonders for Clinton. :shhh:
He's blinded by his hate to anybody who does not belive as he does. He is what has gone wrong with the Democratic party. He did not ever address the social wrong that was done to my friends John and Mary by TRYING TO BE RESPOCABLE people in state, Who's tax money is going to Jenn. You know the irresponcable little tramp.

No, I hate stupid people. You don't know sqaut about Democratic history or politics, yet you have a fetish to run your mouth like you have the solution. Running Republican-lite is KILLING the Democratic Party. You want to be a Republican, so stop pusssyfooting around and declare your alliegance rather than longing for a Republican-lite Democratic Party.

You still have no idea about the Knight in Shining Armor problem facing the Dems and why going after another Clinton is a tactical problem and always has been. Get a fvcking CLUE about how politics operates and then I'll take you seriously. Until then, you're an out-of-loop & without-a-clue malcontent who cannot come to terms with wanting to be a Republican.

In 2003, Kerry was the biggest-spending Senator in Congress (John Edwards was the 3rd biggest). That is "Far Left!"
