While driving slow onto parking lots, driveways and side streets I hear low thumping sounds from under the front and right rear of car.

Struts are solid car drives straight.

Tire store tried to sell me front struts which I thought were not defective.

What could it be?

Please help me restore that smooth quiet cadillac ride.

Maybe a cat stuck to your tire :histeric: Seriously, inspect the tires closely. Maybe a big bolt or large headed screw in one of them.

It could be stabilizer links starting to wear out. They are about $50-$60 each if you order them online plus labor charges from your favorite mechanic or your own time to install them yourself. Check them to be sure they're loose before replacing them. If you use the Search feature above, you'll find lots of information about the stabilizer links and how to check them and replace them.
