No dome light.

So this morning my car battery died, so I changed it this afternoon and now I have no dome light. I had one this morning when I opened the door(s). I can manually turn on the dome light with the switch above the rear view mirror, but when I open any door I have no dome light. Why is this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
