happens occasionally and again last week and fortunately while the dealer service mgr was in the car with me.
Select AM/FM and get absolute silence, switch over to XM works fine?
Now today at dealer and they "cannot replicate" the issue as of yet.

I did experience that issue once after starting the car in very cold weather (likely not related).

Next start up it worked fine.

Maybe related....

Today while driving the FM radio stopped working when I switch stations. Turning it off/on didn't fix it. Making a phone call 'fixed' it when the call was terminated.
