There was an article I was reading stating that Cadillac/GM is teaming with Nissan while Ford is going with VW. If thats the case, then gr8 b/c Nissan's sales are very good now.

"And the 2007 alliance between GM and Nissan, followed by a similar pact the next year between Ford and Volkswagen -- by far the most significant partnerships for either automaker as the industry was consolidating -- also gave a lift to the U.S. automakers' product offerings."

strange how nissan is going , they just left the ford deal on the quest/villager

Nissan and Ford have worked together for years. They both created JATCO to produce Japanese transmissions for Mazdas and Nissans.
