So... My future wife's rx330 lease was up, and she needed a new ride. She loves my Escalade a lot, but I didn't really want to buy one b/c of the new design next year, and I just feel the design is a bit dated for a 2006 truck. So I went to my Caddy/Hummer dealership and she fell in love with the H3. So we ended up getting a Black H3 fully loaded chore pkg, rims, sunroof, nav, everything you get the idea.

Most of you are saying WOW... Thats stupid that thing is a lil tiny truck, well it's not my style I like the H2 but I just think for her it's a hot lil truck... Underpowered? Hell Ya! ! ! I guess my point is Cadillac should make an SUV of this size, the SRX is too much of a crossover to be a "midsize" ute. I am suprized how much I like the H3, I wouldn't buy it for myself but it is a nice truck to have.

I didn't want to wait till 07 to get her the new Escalade, I am waiting to trade in my 02 for that... and still dying to see the 07 design in "FULL"! ! !

It's a cool "little" ute... With the underpowered 5 cylinder engine it gets about 15-16 to the gallon, not great about the same as a stock Escalade minus the power.

h3 get about 20 mpg
Well so far all I have averaged is around 15... I was hoping for the 20, but in real world its been 15...

Jeep Comander to me looks whack... but I don't like the look of the H3 a ton, but it's growing on me since my girl talked me into it... Its a good truck for a girl... not a guy

I got an H3 as a loaner from my dealer about a month ago, and personally, I thought it was terrible. No leather, no auto A/C, no anything. It's like driving a really, really tall base model Honda Civic.how does she get into that thing anyways? I'm 6'1 and I had trouble. It really needs to come with some step bars or something.

HAHA... true that... The one we got, has leather, sunroof, chrome sidesteps... But the lack of "climate control" does suck... It's not a great ride, but since its a lease for my girl its good enough...

I must have got a base model. With all the bells and whistles I sure it's pretty nice. It's funny because I remember looking at the ones they had on the lot and I don't think I saw any with steps. I have a bad left ankle, and I more or less had to jump up into it.
