Does anyone have experience with the Nexen CP641 225 50 17 Tires?

The tires are at www.tiredeals4less.com/NEXEN_CP641_C901.cfm

The tires have a 55,000 mile Tread Warranty, and are 94V-Rated, which would fit my needs. Actually, I rarely drive at speeds over 149 MPH , ha ha.

The price is $70.21 per tire, and the FedEx Ground shipping is $56.18 for a set of 4 tires.

Please let me know if you have any knowledge of this brand of tire.

Thanks, Curt

I haven't used that exact size, but I have a set of 245/35/20 Nexen on my CTS and a set of 305/35/24 Nexen tires on my Tahoe. I've had good luck with the tires. The set I installed on my Tahoe about 10K miles ago. They ride a lot smoother and quieter than a couple other brands I've used before (BFG's and Coopers).

Check reviews at Discount Tire and also at Tire Rack. Very detailed reviews, showing tendency to hydroplane, wet traction, dry traction, light snow, med snow, heavy snow, longevity of tire, noise level, ranking compared to other tires, etc.
