Hello Everyone! My name is Lelo and I am a big Cadillac fan, I am so glad I stubbled across this forum on the web. I have driven so many Cadillacs and gained my knowlege/love of them from my father who happens to collect antique Caddys. I also buy and sell Caddys on the side, since I always run into spectacular deals on immaculate cars. My current project car is a 1970 Cadillac Coupe Deville Convertible. It is all original (even the paint) and has 86,000 original miles. My driver is a 2000 Seville STS with all the goodies. A list of what I have owned so thus far:

1970 Coupe Deville Convertible
2000 Seville STS
1998 Deville (For Sale)
1999 Deville (For Sale)
--------------------------------------
1975 Fleetwood Brougham (Sold)
2000 Deville DHS (Sold)
1997 Seville Designer Edition SLS (Sold)
1997 Deville Concours (Sold)
1998 Deville Vogue Edition (Sold)
1996 Fleetwood Brougham (Sold)

Nothing represents the American pride and tradition like a Cadillac. However, I am disheartened that they do not offer a RWD model anymore. Their style and prestige is remarkable and despite a heavy depreciation in value when purchased new.. they still have a huge following. I will forever own Cadillacs because they suite my every taste. I hope to add more to the list above and continue to follow in the footsteps of my father. Well, enough rambling.. I am Lelo and I am a Cadillacholic :bonkers:

It had Heated Seats, 12 disc cd changer, and embroidered headrests. No sunroof though.

oh, i have the heated seats, the 12 disc, but no emroidered seats or canvas top, but i do have the sunroof?

I wonder if I could get away with calling it the corporate edition or something like that...special edition. Did your old car have badging on the outside that said special edition ?

Nothing except the original sticker price 'markup' had the designation: Designer Edition. So I am guessing you could call it anything you want. The only real models are SLS and STS, the rest are 'made up' at the dealership. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome! I am going to try and take a picture of the '70 Coupe Deville Convertible when I get it back from the electrician. It is having some 'electrical gremlins' at the moment. The car is all original, but is in desperate need of a paint job. So I am going to get a full shell original color paint job on it and get it ready for showtime in the spring.
Regards,
Lelo
