Actually I own Lincolnmotorsport, thanks.

Im so impressed with the mature warm welcome I have recieved so far.

Heh heh. Now that's funny. :)

You've got a sweet mark there! Those are IMHO one of the sexiest cars ever made. My pop owned one a few years back and I loved it. :)

What kind of times do you turn at the strip?

And I LOVE that emblem! That rocks! :D

Thanks for the compliments on the graphics and the car.
The CobraStar is my design from last year. Its now our official company logo.

The car took 5 years to make it into what it is today but the engine iteself is BONE stock.

The times are in this article. Its a good read.

http://www.maxrpm.com/2001/newlms/mmff.htm

Yes there BONE stock times (Engine that is) just bolt ons and bolt ons only.

We set out to prove what can be done with just bolt ons with the right combination.

Hey man. Welcome to the forum! I have that magazine some where around here with the Lincoln shootout. I thought it was quite interesting. I love the Mark 8's since its pretty much a luxury version of a Mustang Cobra since it has its 4.6 V8. But I also saw your website when you first brought it online. But I'm glad to see your making progress on it because when I first was one it half the stuff was still under construction. But I love your car, it is probably one of the hottest Mark 8's out there. I was/still am thinking about getting a 93-96 Mark 8 and modifying it up. Where is your shop located at? Because in the Mustang and other Fast Ford's magazine the test was at Englishtown so are you close to there or kinda farther away? Because E-Town is about a 45 min. drive from me so if your shop is near there I would love to swing by one day and check the place out and see your car. But once again welcome!

Its not important, what car you have - important is, that you are happy with this
For example i know people who like Peugeots and Datsuns :D
The Datsun's are very nice cars. Especially the 510's. They are awesome race cars and very good for road racing as well. The only thing that sucks with them is their bodies and how they rust. I didn't find that out until I was looking at a 1980 Datsun 280ZX and found out why everyone calls them rust buckets. If it wasn't for the rust problem they would be very good cars.

My mom had an 84 datsun wagon for 6 months. It was in and out of the dealership every other week... literally. Then the driver side door fell off... literally. the car was the bigest pile of shit she ever owned. and because of that she has never bought another jap car. After she sold it she got a volvo wagon that went 280,000 mile and still ran great when she sold it.

I used to push my Chevy all the time.

1998 S10 pickup. Stater went... had to park up hill and push it to start it until i replaced it.
then the clutch parts blew appart and i had to put it in neutral and push it off the road... more than once.

I hated that thing... then the strike plate for the drivers door fell off and we had to keep it closed with a rope for a few weeks.

now there is a major exhaust leak... oh.. and that "100000 mile cooling system"... had to be repaired 3 times already.

the valve cover leaks and the idiot who designed the thing put a plate over the valve cover attached to the back of the block. the only way to removve that is to take the motor out... for a valve cover gasket!

again, this a a 1998 chevy S10 with 85,000 miles on it

that thing is and was the biggest POS ive ever owned. I was very reluctant to buy my caddy cus of it. I didnt want another GM doing the same thing on me.
