Oh I Seee. Well you do have couple thing going for you... first and foremost, you're not a ricer. If someone form Honda was doing that he'd catch a lot of hell. Pluse lincoln makes nice cars, IMO. And I like a few of the things you've done with some of the cars on your website. I love some of the rims. and that black widow project or something...that car looks phenomenal. Many of the cars are modded with taste. Too bad your website isn't that good though :rofl: Anyways, why do you have such contempt for Caddies. It's not like we're painting our cars orange and putting stupid spoilers on them like a frickin ricer.

Alright being civil... as I was. It is obvious why I would think you would have contempt for Caddy's... You are from lincoln motor sports, you have the caddy being pissed on by my man calvin, and your car says "Caddy Killer." Out of all names you could have picked, (rice killer), you chose "caddy killer" so that is obviously why one would think you have contempt or something against Caddies. And Geno, I wasn't painting any pictures, merely having conversation. oh yeah, I didn't say anything about your graphics, there were some pages under construction and some links that didn't work.

The Mark VIII's (93-95 only) run [email protected] 97mph bone stock.

The pushrod engine is dominate in durabilty, longevity and in many other realms when placing it against the mod motors that Ford produces for sure.

The Ford pushrod engines eat them alive in those departments as well.

I LOVE the MOD Motors simply because Im an RPM ADDICT and these things are like Indy engines, they do not start happy time until 3k and then its ALL OVER, pulling like a runaway train is an understatement, the downside, EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE to build right that as, and from what my personal experiences have been with them there short lived to say the least.

Our company (MAXRPM Our parent company) car is a 1995 Impala SS with 45k on the clock.

The only mods being the optional 3.42 rear, ASM cold air, Nology wires and Beru plugs, and the maf screen removed and that car is driven very hard regularly, runs consisten 14.70's in good air and has never even lit the check engine light ONCE! With ZERO part failure or problems of any type.

Hey Geeeeeeeeeeno! Stirring up trouble again I see!

Actually there seems to be quite a few Lincoln fans here. And to top it all off I'm a fan of both! I drive a '97 Mark VIII LSC (WITH heated seats thank you) and we also have a '99 Seville STS. The STS is a great car, can't beat the Mark but it is very comfortable and very practical, just wish it was RWD.

I think I'll stick around here a bit and learn some about the Seville and hawk my towels www.dftowel.com

I'm not quite in THAT catagory with my cars
Seldom do I spin too much into 2nd unless I have fairly poor traction conditions. Between the tires I have and the weight of the car, she usually hooks after getting into 2nd. Of course power-braking my FTS like in your one video will produce fairly identical hole-shots.

My friend's got a 1962 lincoln continental. He just bought a 462 for it. That thing is soo sweet. Pretty soon we'll have to cruise around town with his lincoln and my '70 caddy.

Simple mass air mod, our XpansionX twin outlet mufflers (The ones in the Steve movie) and true dual setup was good for 14.40's @98.9 and change in my friends 1995 CTS.

I'd still rather have a Mark VIII than my Eldo.

My mistake then - regarding the heated seats. I hadn't looked too much into the Mark after 96, I suppose.. It's good to know they've got heated seats starting in '97..

I think the majority of us here love Lincolns. It's a given. Sure, Cadillacs are our favorites.. Afterall, everybody has a favorite. Just like the Lincoln fans.. I'm sure there are a ton of Lincoln lovers who love Cadillacs as well. How can you not? These two companies make America's best luxury offerings...

So don't get the impression that we have any animosity against Lincoln or Lincoln fans. I think we're all in the same boat competing with BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Infiniti, Acura, etc...
