Recently purchased 2010 CTS Sedan 3.6 AWD Premium... and I have been searching and reading all through this forum, it's a great resource!

So I purchased the GM AC Delco MP3 adapter and the Apple 30-pin to Lightning adapter and the car still won't read my iPhone for music.

Is there any kind of update that the Cadillac dealer can do on the radio for this?
Or should I return the MP3 adaptor and just get used to using the Lightning to 3.5mm aux cable I bought?

While some people report the 30 pin to lightning adapter along with the mp3 adapter works with iPhones, I never got it to work in my Coupe. Dealer replaced the USB part and it still doesn’t work.

As stated, I suggest a cigarette/Bluetooth adapter.

What is the MY change over for the constant-on cig lighter plugs? I had to use the USB port to power my BT adapter because my '09 cig lighter plugs are always hot. I like having the adapter turn on and off with the ignition switch.

IIRC 08-10 the plugs are constant on and 11+ are ignition switched.

I recently replaced my phone too and couldn't remember how to pair the new phone even though I just did it less than a year ago. The CTS infotainment system is awful. "handsfree".............. "bluetooth"...................... "pair".............. Is that even correct? I can't remember. It's been a week and the system is soooooo tediously unintuitive compared to "Hey Google... navigate to the nearest gas station" ... DONE.

Connection to Bluetooth for phone calls is fine for me.
Just went with a Lightning to 3.5 aux to stream music from my phone.

I'm currently using a Scoshe magicmount pro on my windshield but i saw a mount on here somewhere that mount on top of the nav screen? that i might get.

Thanks for the replies!
