Hello, CF i have 02 dts bought the full arnott air ride suspension had it put on last week. Message pop up speed limit to 90mph. The codes that show are:

ABS C1252 Left Front Normal Force Malfunction
ABS C1253 Right Front Normal Force Malfunction
ABS U1000 Class 2 Communication Malfunction
PCM P1652 Powertrain Induced Chassis Pitch Output Circuit
PCM U1056 Loss of Communications with RTD/RSS

The fuse that pops is 32 CVRTD FUSE 10A I don't even have car running it pops.

Called arnott tech they said could be actuator but sounds like its not. Resistor could be bad & its under warranty easy to replace, compressor drawing to much. The fuse is 10 should i put a higher fuse in? They also said need the tech2 to fined the location so i called the installer to go back over it. I'm sure this has come up before anyone have a good clue? Thank you

bought the full arnott air ride suspension

first -
our cars do not have AIR RIDE suspension -

our cars have regular COIL SPRING suspension -
along with regular oil-filled front struts
and special ELC - Electronic Level Control - oil filled rear shocks -
that incorporate air bladders that can raise the BODY of the car -
to maintain proper ride-height - regardless of cargo weight -

----------------------------

too bad you didn't ask here BEFORE buying the arnott stuff -

as long as you went PASSIVE -
we could have saved you a LOT of money -
and you would have gotten a MUCH better set of struts and shocks -
by going with Monroe -
around $200 total for struts and shocks -
------------------------

Called arnott tech they said could be actuator
the arnott shocks and struts are passive -
they do not have any actuators -

all they have is resistors to "fool" the computer -

try unplugging the arnot resistors -
see if the error codes go away -

if yes - you could pick up a bag of 4.7K ohm resistors -
RadioShack #271-1124 - about $1.50 for 5 resistors -
and install one resistor for each strut and shock -

compressor drawing to much
the ELC compressor uses its own fuse -

The fuse is 10 should i put a higher fuse in?
NO -
NEVER use a bigger fuse -
find and fix the problem -

They also said need the tech2 to fined the location
so i called the installer to go back over it.

ABS C1252 and ABS C1253 - along with ABS U1000 -
these codes are for a problem between the CVRSS module and the EBTCM -
maybe something wasn't plugged in -
or a problem with the arnott resistors -

Update on suspension did everything basscatt mentioned nothing worked. The compressor wouldn't cycle "SPEED LIMITED TO 90 MPH' still showed & fuse 10A would still blow. Now i don't know the right name of the fuse that the shop put in so i'll describe it like this a fuse that has a built in circuit so it can reset itself. Now the message pops up on dash but then disappears. It did this for about 2 weeks so i opeoned it up over the 90mph to see if it would throttle me back like before it didn't. Did that couple more time through the week same results. After that no more message came up compressor now works. Wierd did i have to drive like that for the computer to recognize or reprogram itself?

that would be a CIRCUIT BREAKER -

no -

unless you fixed the problem -
the codes will be back -
your C1252 and C1253 codes are set by the EBTCM, not the CVRSS.
